Everyone knows dogs love to run and chew, and this is natural for any dog. So they put in their mouth and chew whatever they see in your house and mass up everything. You don't want this to be happening, so you buy dog toys to them to chew instead of things in your house. But you know what, If your dog is anything like mine, a store bought toy may get a bit of attention for a few moments, but then the toy is ignored for more personal items in the home including, but not limited to, shoes, socks, couches, or even tables depending on the dog's size. You know dog toys are getting expensive and sometimes they are not even worth as their price.

Let me ask you this: Aren't you tired of spending 10 bucks for 10 cents worht of rope?

If you are, then how about make dog toys by yourself with things that can be easily seen in your house?

It will save whole lot of your money from spending on those expensive, worthless dog toys.
Also homemade dog toys will be much more safer to your dogs than store toys. You don't know with what kind of stuffs the store dog toys are made of. It might have some bad and toxic stuffs, but if you make homemade dog toys, then you can give more safer, because you know what kind of stuffs your homemade toys are made of, to your lovely dogs. Your dogs will feel more comfortable to play with homemade dog toys, because it will have same smell as your home. By making dog toys with your children, you can teach them the value of making things at home, having fun with them, and make them more creative and imaginative. There are more advantages of making homemade dog toys than what I said.

No! It's much easier than you think. For example, you got a new cushion and want to throw old cushion away, you know what, instead, you can give the old cushion to your dog as a toy and he can play, chew, or do whatever he wants! Of course if you put little more effort on making than just giving as it is, you can make many different kinds of dog toys, and your dogs can have lots of fun with those!
